Dr. Hyoung Jin "Joe" Cho is Director of NanoFab & BioMEMS Lab. He is Professor in the Mechacnical, Materials and Aerospace Engineering (MMAE) and the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Departments at the University of Central Florida. He earned his Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering with the specialty of MEMS and BioMEMS from the University of Cincinnati in 2002. His current research interests include biochemical sensors, polymer-based microfluidic devices, thermocapillary and electrocapillary droplet transportation platforms, MEMS magnetic sensors/actuators, and fundamental MEMS processes such as UV-LIGA, electrodeposition and packaging. He is a recipient of NSF CAREER award in 2004. |

Dr. Sanghoon Park received his BS and BE from Hanyang University, Korea in 2001. He received his MS from OSU in 2004 and PhD degrees from UCF in 2012. He joined NanoFab and BioMEMS Lab in 2012. His research intersts are biosensors and MEMS biochips. | ||

Dr. Roxana Shabani received her PhD
in Mechanical Engineering from UCF in 2013. She has earned her BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from
University of Tehran in 2007. Her research interest includes FEM analysis of
MEMS components, electrowetting-based miniaturized pumps and graphene actuators.

Xiaochen Wang is a PhD student in Materials Science and Engineering. He graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with BS degree in 2012. He joined the NanoFab & BioMEMS Lab in 2013 and currently works on the MEMS electro-spraying devices. |

Alireza Karbalaei is a MS/PhD student in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department of University of Central Florida. He has earned his BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Tehran in 2009 and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2012. His research interests include MEMS, Micro-, Nano- and Bio-Fluidics and Computational Fluid Dynamics. | ||

Chris Hughes received his BS with Magna Cum Laude in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University in 2013. He served in US Navy as Work Center Supervisor and Nuclear Reactor Operator. His research interests are charge transfer in nanochannels and its applications. | ||
